Scuba North hosts local diving events throughout the year and supports local diving causes.

Scuba North is involved with the Grand Traverse Bay Underwater Preserve. We are developing the preserve by gaining the funding and support to begin side scanning the bay for wrecks that we have been researching, along with the intent to sink a new large wreck to attract more divers to the area. Be sure to drop in and find out what is going on with this great project.

There are regular events, such as the annual New Year's Day dive in Grand Traverse Bay, and numerous other opportunities to get wet and make new diving friends.

Scuba North Annual Treasure Hunt
Saturday June 26, 12 noon
Meet at the shop for an fun filled day, lots of prizes and great food!
The money raised will go to the Father Fred Foundation and the YMCA. More details will be coming!

Local evening dives
For all local evening dives, show up at the shop no later than 6pm. All rental gear is half off, and a divemaster is provided. If you need to rent, the earlier you show up the better. A dive buddy will be provided if you don't have one and we promise a lot of fun to be had by all!

Local Shipwreck Diving Charters

Regularly scheduled trips to shipwreck sites run on a weekly basis throughout the dive season. Scuba North can arrange for a wreck diving experience for any group of 6 who wishes a personal charter also. Destinations vary according to experience level; click here for more details.
